These records are the general files of the department. They contain correspondence, reports and other material relating to the operation of the department. Included among the subject files are correspondence to senators, annual reports of the Dept. of Industrial Relations, and the first annual report of the re-created Dept.of Labor for 1943 Aug.-Sept. The bulk of these files cover the years 1945-1972, though also included are files, 1941-1943 which were created by the predecessor agency, the Dept. of Industrial Relations, Division of Labor (1939-1943).
